Watching it work.
Every rule in this documentation is a reading, an event or a balance on the explorer. This page is the walk-through. None of it needs an account, an API key or permission.
Read the struck face
Open the contract on the explorer; its address is published in this site's masthead and on the Readings page. Among the contract's public readings is the face: one value from the fixed set of five. Compare it with the face named across this site. They are the same fact in two places, and the contract's copy is the authoritative one.
Watch a trade split its fee
Every transfer reads the face to divide the Trade Fee. On the explorer, a trade's transaction shows the fee leaving with the transfer and arriving at the two destinations: retirement for one share, the Pool for the other. Under Full Retire you will see the whole fee retire; under Full Pool, the whole fee deepen.
Watch retired supply grow
Retired DIEC accumulates permanently. Track the total supply reading over time: under every face except Full Pool it steps down with retiring volume, and it never steps up. A supply that only falls or holds is the visible signature of retirement.
Watch the Pool deepen
The Pool is public market data. Under every face except Full Retire its depth grows with trading, because the deepening share of every fee stays in the market. Deep liquidity that only grows is the visible signature of the other destination.
Try to find the setters
The strongest check is a search that fails. Look through the contract's functions for anything that moves the fee, the face or the supply, anything that pauses, and anything that mints. The absence you find is the same absence this site states.
